OLD CITY BBQ SHRIMP

I found this recipe in Hometown Cooking by Better Homes and Gardens magazine June 2002 issue.

Ingredients

  • 1 1⁄2lbs medium shrimp, in shells fresh or frozen
  • 2tablespoons melted butter
  • 1tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2cloves garlic, minced
  • 3⁄4teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • 3⁄4teaspoon cajun seasoning
  • 3⁄4teaspoon bottled hot pepper sauce
  • 1⁄4teaspoon ground black pepper

Direction

  1. Lightly grease a 13x9 baking dish.
  2. Peel and devein shrimp, leaving the tails intact.
  3. Rinse the shrimp and pat dry with paper towels.
  4. Place the shrimp in the baking dish and set aside.
  5. In a small bowl combine the rest of the ingredients.
  6. Pour the mixture over the shrimp.
  7. Toss to coat the shrimp and lay in a single layer.
  8. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
  9. Spoon the shrimp into a serving dish.
  10. Pour the cooking liquid over the shrimp and serve immediately.
