MEATLOAF

Delicious !! I found this recipe in a United church cookbook and decided to give it a try. It's a keeper for sure. I had tried others looking for just the right one.

Ingredients

  • 2⁄3cup dried breadcrumbs, soaked in
  • 1cup milk
  • 1 1⁄2lbs ground beef
  • 2eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1⁄4cup chopped onion
  • 1teaspoon salt
  • 1⁄8teaspoon pepper
  • 1⁄2teaspoon sage
GLAZE
  • 3tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1⁄4cup ketchup

Direction

  1. Combine meatloaf ingredients.
  2. Put in loaf pan.
  3. Top with glaze.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until no longer pink in center.
