EASY STUFFED CABBAGE

Easy crockpot recipe with all the great flavors of Polish golumpkis.

Ingredients

  • 1 1⁄2lbs ground beef
  • 4cups cabbage, chopped (or more-I use the whole head of cabbage)
  • 1cup instant rice (I use brown)
  • 8ounces tomato sauce
  • 12ounces tomatoes, chopped
  • 2tablespoons vinegar
  • 1teaspoon salt
  • 1teaspoon pepper
  • 1small onion, diced
  • 1cup water
  • 1⁄2cup ketchup (I sub more tomato sauce)
  • 1tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1⁄2teaspoon garlic powder

Direction

  1. Cook beef and onion until done, drain.
  2. Add to remaining ingredients in crockpot. Cook over low 4-8 hours.
  3. I make the day before (refrigerating) and when leaving for work turn on the following morning.
