CROCK POT PULLED CHICKEN

A healthier alternative to pulled pork! Easy to make in the Crock Pot.

Ingredients

  • 3 -4boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1(10 1/2 ounce) can condensed tomato soup (Campbell's Soup recommended.)
  • 3⁄4cup onion, chopped
  • 1⁄4cup vinegar
  • 3tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1⁄2teaspoon salt
  • 1⁄4teaspoon dried basil
  • 1pinch ground thyme
  • hamburger bun (I recommend potato hamburger rolls rolls.)

Direction

  1. Layer chicken on bottom of Crock Pot.
  2. Combine all other ingredients in a bowl and pour over chicken.
  3. Cover tightly and cook on low* for 4-5 hours.
  4. Shred chicken with fork.
  5. Cook for approximately 1-2 more hours or until done through.
  6. Serve on hamburger buns.
